How COVID-19 Has Been Affecting Our Youth & Young Adults

    https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/BGGNWYP

We are interested in understanding the experiences of youth and families in Pennsylvania during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are sending out this survey in order to compare data that we gathered from your valuable input back in April and May of 2021. Please support us in gathering this valuable data to aid us in providing more efficient resources for youth, young adults, and families. You are being asked to answer some questions about mental health/illness, schooling, social experiences, and what we can do to help each other. Please be assured that your responses will be kept completely confidential and will be reported as combined group information except for individual testimonials. By completing this form, you provide consent for your data to be combined in aggregate as well as the use of any written testimonial to be used in a completely anonymous manner. You acknowledge that the data and information gathered will be distributed to entities including but not limited to state and local government, private provider agencies, non-profit agencies, and participant respondents, all upon request and in the interests of developing appropriate service responses to the COVID-19 pandemic.

    Donate Here

Spread holiday cheer and full bellies this season by helping the Pennsylvania Mental Health Consumer's Association (PMHCA) and Youth MOVE PA (YMPA) supply Christmas dinner to our state's regional Community Support Programs (CSP).

Community Support Programs are a safe, warm, and engaging environment for people who have a mental illness to feel the power of recovery by making friends and learning new things. There are 4 regional CSPs and many other smaller, more local CSPs throughout Pennsylvania. CSPs are vital to consumers as they provide hope, purpose, and support while people are on their recovery journey. People who attend CSPs may be struggling financially, physically, and/or mentally and truly depend on the connections they make at their CSP meetings.

This Christmas, we are asking you to help out by donating any amount which will allow us to provide a delicious Christmas dinner to each regional CSP that includes all the favorites: ham, turkey, filling, mashed potatoes, veggies, and of course, dessert! PMHCA and YMPA will be splitting all proceeds between the four regionals CSPs to purchase their dinner items in time for Christmas. Your donation is very much appreciated by PMHCA, YMPA, and the CSPs!

A quick mental wellness check in :)

One of our Youth MOVE PA members is collecting data for a state committee they are on.  We are simply supporting this member in distributing the survey across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  Please share this survey with co-workers, family members, and friends.  The more responses the better. Please take this short, 10-question survey, related to the state of youth mental health.
